Founding Partner at GreenLight Solutions
January 2013SEED SPOT Social Venture Incubator 2015 Cohort GLS is a sustainability consulting organization that was born at Arizona State University (ASU) as a student group. The alumni of the student organization had a such a great experience that we set out to continue doing this work. GLS has a dual mission - to get students experiential learning opportunities in the real world, consulting with businesses and to give those businesses the opportunity to embrace sustainability in a way that they get a fresh perspective, from the students, with cost effective consulting. We are taking the positive impact of this organization to the next level. We want to give more students this opportunity and prepare them to be a force of good upon graduation. Through this work, GLS members are better prepared to make a difference in the world when they graduate and communities are better off because their businesses are doing business in a better way. We see business as a force of change, and if we can get businesses to embrace sustainable ideals, then we are making an impact. We want nothing more than to have a positive influence on this momentum.
